Privacy Policy

ZeroTech.si is a Brandbutter company, operated by Brandbutter Live Experiences Pvt. Ltd. (CIN U74999DL2017PTC316395) ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through zerotech.si, why we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

Who is responsible

Brandbutter Live Experiences Pvt. Ltd. is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website: 15th Floor, Quest Offices, Ocus Quantum, Sector 51, Gurugram, Haryana 122003, India. Email: jps@j91.in.

What we collect

  • Enquiries and briefs: when you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, or send us a project brief, we receive what you choose to share. Usually that is your name, organisation, contact details and event details (date, city or venue, audience size and what you need).
  • WhatsApp: our WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent until you press send. WhatsApp (Meta) handles the conversation under its own privacy policy, and we receive your message and WhatsApp number.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider's servers log basic request data (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) to keep the site secure and running.
  • Analytics: if we switch on Google Analytics or a similar tool, it collects pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location. See the cookie notice below.
  • Film embeds: a case study may offer a film hosted on YouTube or Vimeo. The player loads only when you press play; from then on YouTube or Vimeo may collect data under their own policies.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data and we do not sell personal data.

Why we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals, quotes and contracts;
  • to plan and deliver the events and services you engage us for;
  • to keep the website secure and working, and to understand how it is used;
  • to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We rely on the consent you give when you contact us, or on the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows, such as answering a request you started.

Who we share it with

Only with people who need it to help us: our team, the event partners and suppliers working on your project, and service providers such as our web host and our email and messaging providers. Some of them (for example WhatsApp, Google, YouTube or Vimeo) may process data outside India. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. Project records are kept for as long as Indian company and tax law requires (normally eight years). Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

  • give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • stop using it where you have withdrawn your consent (this does not affect what we did before);
  • let someone you nominate exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.

To use any of these rights, email jps@j91.in. We aim to reply within 30 days.

Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, write to our Grievance Officer at jps@j91.in or at the address above. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Cookie notice

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser.

  • Essential: the public website does not set any cookies of its own. The admin area, used only by our team, sets one session cookie to keep editors signed in.
  • Analytics and marketing: if we switch on Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight, those services set cookies to measure visits or advertising. At the moment none of them is switched on.
  • Film embeds: YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) and Vimeo (do-not-track mode) load only after you press play, and may then set their own cookies.
  • WhatsApp: a WhatsApp link takes you to WhatsApp, where its own cookie and privacy policies apply.
  • Fonts: the typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver them and sets no cookies. Images and films are served from this website.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the site works.
